Trama: |

Nella sicula Corleone degli anni ’50 la storia di due amici, Michele Labruzzo e Vito Gargano, le cui vite si separano prendendo due direzioni antitetiche. Il primo decide di capeggiare i contadini nelle rivendicazioni sindacali e nella conquista delle terre contrapponendosi al Barone Miceli e al boss che lo rappresenta, Don Giusto Provenzano. Vito invece è deciso a primeggiare seguendo la strada mafiosa diventando l’uomo di fiducia del Provenzano, accettando di fungere da sicario di Michele e dirigendo le tenute del barone. |
