SINOSSI ITALIANA: Franco Fianchetti, un trentasettenne ammogliato con prole, si iscrive alla scuola media solo per studiare il modo di penetrare, attraverso l'edificio scolastico, in un'oreficeria attigua. Ufficialmente guardiano notturno in una villa, Franco è di fatto l'istruttore di una scuola di ladri e prepara il colpo come prova d'esame per i suoi allievi. Giunta finalmente la notte stabilita per svaligiare il negozio, mentre gli apprendisti ladri sono al lavoro, Franco si procura un alibi attirando con un tranello nella villa di cui è custode, il proprio professore Francesco Ingrassini.
