Lorenzo Fumagalli (Massimo Boldi) è il padre di una felice famiglia brianzola. Con la moglie Tilly (Barbara De Rossi) e le tre giovani figlie parte per una vacanza in Canada, dove si imbatte in un incontro che gli cambierà la vita.
