Colomba (which means Dove in Italian) is an Italian sweet Easter bread. Similar to the Christmas Panettone, however, la Colomba contains candied orange peel instead of raisins and is topped with almonds. It is shaped like a dove which is the Christian traditional symbol of peace and love.
The Colomba originated in the Lombardy region in Italy’s north and is often given to family and friends during the Easter period.
The Italian Flame were the first to ever produce a Panettone scented soy candle and now, we bring you la Colomba! This candle has been 12 months in the making, and just like our famous limited edition Panettone candle, you will love the unique blend of heavenly sweet and citrusy fragrance that fills the room.
